ROTAX EURO CHALLENGE 5 YEARS YOUNG & STILL GROWING STRONGER

The 2008 Euro Challenge is tipped to see some tough competition in its 5th year, as the level of racing and the interest in the championship continues to grow

Defending European Senior Max Champion Ben Cooper is hoping to hold onto his 07 title, racing once again for the HRS Motorsport Team from Great Britain. Team owner Tristram Oman is also a former winner of the Senior Max class at the Euro Challenge.

The Autodrom ?eská Lípa in Sosnova, Czech Republic will play host to round three of the Euro Challenge this year

After finishing as runner-up in the 2007 ROTAX Euro Challenge, Kevin Korjus automatically qualified for the ROTAX Grand Finals in the UAE, where he went on to take the win in Junior Max. This season, the young Estonian will compete for the third year running in the championship, hoping to add the junior title to his Euro successes, including the 06 Rookie. 2008 sees him join the TKP Holland team, making the switch to the Intrepid chassis.

The ROTAX DD2 is shaping up to be a showdown of some of the best drivers from around the World in the 2-speed class. South Africas Wesleigh Orr as multiple Grand Finals and European champ will make a return to the Euro Challenge, taking time out from his commitments with his national A1GP team.
