The Trulli Twin Kart
"Some people love ICC. We love twins."So says who? WA's Luke Morton, that's who.
Over the past few months, Morton has transformed a European single-engine chassis into an awesome twin-engined monster. "Yes, there's lots of work, but they are extreme fun to drive" he commented.
The kart started out as a 2005 Trulli JT3, but as can be seen in the photos of the build process (with captions from Luke), has had many modifications and now comes with TWO water-cooled Vortex reed valve engines.
"We are going to run the kart in several meetings before attacking the 2006 WA State Championships in Bunbury" Morton told KartSportNews. "We are hoping for around 15 or so for the Open class come state championship time; 5 to 6 Twins, 5 to 6 ICC and several quick singles."
